Using a wind-up 8mm movie camera, my father filmed part of the 47th annual Labor Day celebration in Bovey, MN. Bovey is located on the Western Mesabi Iron Range in Northern Minnesota.

Hubert Humphrey and Orville Freeman both gave speeches on brick staircase podium on the Bovey Village Hall at Bovey Farmer's Day in 1960. (Labor Day) Both Minnesota politicians were rising stars at the time.
